TikTok Shop shipping deadlines: dispatch, late dispatch rate and cancellations

Updated Oct 26, 20263 min readBy the Double Éveil team

On TikTok Shop, speed is a rule, not a bonus. Late shipments lower your metrics, can limit your shop and get orders cancelled. Here's what we know about the deadlines, and how to never miss them.

The deadlines

United States United Kingdom
Dispatch Carrier scan within 2 business days (older pages: 3) 72 hours with tracking, per fulfilment providers
Auto-cancellation After 5 business days without tracking (older pages: 7) Check Seller Center
Metric Late dispatch rate Late dispatch rate

Watch out

These figures come partly from secondary sources and have changed several times. The deadline shown on each order in Seller Center is the one that counts.

How to stay on time

  1. Stock that's really local, checked with a test order (mission V2).
  2. Ship every day, or at least every business day.
  3. Valid tracking on every parcel, from the first scan.
  4. Don't list more products than you can ship during probation.
  5. Check your late dispatch rate every week.

Key point

A late order costs more than a lost sale: it lowers your metrics for weeks.

FAQ

How many days do I have to ship on TikTok Shop US?

Current guidance points to a carrier scan within 2 business days. Older pages say 3. Seller Center shows the deadline for each order.

What happens if I don't ship at all?

The order is cancelled automatically (after 5 business days without tracking in current US guidance) and counts against you.

Do weekends count?

In the US, deadlines are in business days. In the UK, a fulfilment provider cites 72 hours including weekends: check your order deadlines.
