FAQ
How does eBay calculate its final value fee?
On the order total, shipping included, at a rate that depends on the category, plus a small fee per order. eBay's official fee page is the reference.
Does the per-order fee matter?
On an expensive item, barely. On a $10 or $12 item, a lot: that's why bundles help on small products.
Is sales tax part of my revenue?
In the US, sales tax is added on top and collected by eBay: it isn't part of what you keep. Income tax still applies to your profit.
